Pawan Kalyan urges Kapu, Telaga, Vontari, Balija communities to fight YSRCP

Rajahmundry:Actor-turned-politician and Janasena party president Pawan Kalyan appealed to the people of Kapu, Telaga, Vontari, and Balija communities to put up a united fight against the YSRCP government. Addressing a public meeting here on Saturday, he asked the ruling party leaders not to take his softness for his weakness.

He dismissed government advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy's remarks that he was an "action, camera, and cut" leader. Alleging that Sajjala had telephoned the police in an attempt to thwart his programme, the Janasena chief said 4,572 vehicles belonging to his party members were stopped at various places. The YSRCP leaders had vowed to prevent his entry into East Godavari district but he was participating in the programme with the massive support of the people, he added.

Coming down heavily on the YSRCP leaders for their comments, he said, "I would have taught them a lesson, had I not been in politics." Without naming minister Perni Venkatramaiah, Pawan Kalyan said a minister who belongs to his caste had abused his caste in a bid to flay him. "Who has given the right to the minister to abuse the entire caste?" he questioned and added that the YSRCP had branded the Kamma caste as their class enemy. The Reddy community is also not happy with Jagan Reddy's rule as they are not getting opportunities, he alleged.

YSRCP leaders did not even spare the Vice-President of India, the Chief Justice of India, and former Chief Minister, he said. Accused the ruling party of double standards, he said the YSRCP had supported the three agriculture Bills in the Parliament but had also participated in the 'Bharat bandh' to protest against the same Bills in the state.

Earlier, the Janasena chief had participated in the Hukumpet-Balaji Nagar road repair works. He was accorded a warm welcome at the airport and a huge rally was taken out.
