`Radha Sapthami’:  TTD to host festival on Jan 28; here is  list of arrangements

Tirumala: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams management has geared up to host `Radha Sapthami’ on the auspicious occasion of Surya Jayanthi on January 28.

TTD EO AV Dharma Reddy along with JEOs Sada Bhargavi, Veerabrahmam, and CVSO Narasimha Kishore reviewed with all heads of departments at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala. He directed them to ensure the smooth conduct of the mega fete by executing their duties with more dedication.

Several decisions regarding the arrangements were taken in the meeting. These include:

Sri Malayappa Swamy to take a celestial ride on Suryaprabha, Chinna Sesha, Garuda, Hanumantha, Chakrasnanam, Kalpavriksha, Sarvabhoopala, and Chandraprabha Vahanams from dawn to dusk on a single day.

The Slotted Sarva Darshan tokens stand canceled on January 28. The devotees shall have darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy through Vaikuntham Queue Complex 2 on that day.

VIP Break, all arjita sevas, and privileged darshan including seniors citizens and physically handicapped are also canceled.

The booking of accommodation also stands canceled on January 27 and 28. Only CRO General counters will function on these two days for the allotment of accommodation. TB Counter remains closed on these two days. Four lakhs of laddus are being kept as buffer stock apart from the daily stock of 3.5 lakh laddus.

Annaprasadam and beverages will be supplied to the devotees waiting in galleries, VQC 1 and 2, Narayanagiri Sheds, queue lines, and mini Annaprasadam centers in Tirumala from morning to evening.

One lakh buttermilk packets, two lakh beverages, 7-8 lakh Ready to Eat varieties including one lakh Pulihora, and other Annaprasadam menu will be served in galleries apart from the routine activity at MTVAC, PAC2, 4, and VQC.

130 students from Sri Venkateswara Balamandiram school run by TTD to present Aditya Hridayam during Suryaprabha Vahanam.

For devotees not following time slot:

TTD has given Time slot tickets and tokens only to avoid long waiting hours by the pilgrims in compartments and queue lines while having the darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy. But it is found, that every day not less than 3000 devotees are not following the time slots and reporting many hours beyond their prescribed time.

Henceforth, those pilgrims who are failing to report on a given time will be allowed for darshan only through Vaikutham Queue Complex 2 along with the tokenless devotees only.

The devotees who booked tickets online and SSD tokens in Tirupati should follow the given time to have a hassle-free darshan.
