Summer Express: East Coast Railway launches 5 weekly special trains

Visakhapatnam: In order to provide a comfortable journey to passengers during the summer, the East Coast Railway has decided to run five weekly special trains between various destinations.

Visakhapatnam–Secunderabad–Visakhapatnam special (08579/08580)

1. Visakhapatnam–Secunderabad weekly special train (08579) will leave Visakhapatnam on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. from 1 March to 26 April and will reach Secunderabad the next day at 8.20 a.m.

2. In the return direction, Secunderabad–Visakhapatnam weekly special train (08580) will leave Secunderabad on Thursdays at 7.40 p.m. from 2 March to 27 April and will reach Visakhapatnam the next day at 6.40 a.m.

Stoppages: Duvvada, Anakapalle, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Vijayawada, Guntur, Sattenapalle, Miryalaguda and Nalgonda between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad.

Composition: 2nd AC-1, 3rd AC-5, Sleeper Class-10, General Second Class-5, Second class-cum-luggage/disabled coaches-2.

Visakhapatnam–Mahbubnagar–Visakhapatnam special (08585/08586)

1. Visakhapatnam–Mahbubnagar weekly special train (08585) will leave Visakhapatnam at 5.35 p.m. on Tuesdays from 7 March to 25 April and will reach Mahbubnagar the next day at 10.30 a.m.

2. In the return direction, Mahbubnagar–Visakhapatnam weekly special train (08586) will leave Mahbubnagar at 6.20 p.m. on Wednesdays from 8 March to 26 April and reach Visakhapatnam the next day at 9.50 a.m.

Stoppages: Duvvada, Annavaram Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Guntur, Sattenapalle, Miryalaguda, Nalgonda, Malkajgiri, Kacheguda, Umadanagar, Shadnagarand and Jadcherla between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad.

Composition: 3rd AC-3, Sleeper Class-10, General Second Class-6, Second class-cum-luggage/disabled coaches-2.

Visakhapatnam–Tirupati–Visakhapatnam special (08583/08584)

1. Visakhapatnam–Tirupati weekly special train (08583) will leave Visakhapatnam on Mondays at 7 p.m. from 6 March to 24 April and will reach Tirupati the next day at 9.15 a.m.

2. In the return direction, Tirupati–Visakhapatnam weekly special (08584) will leave Tirupati at 9.55 p.m. on Tuesday from 7 March to 25 April and will reach Visakhapatnam the next day at 10.15 a.m.

Stoppages: Duvvada, Anakapalle, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Tenali, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Srikalahasti and Renigunta between Visakhapatnam and Tirupati

Composition: 2nd AC-1, 3rd AC-5, Sleeper Class-9, General Second Class-4, Second class-cum-luggage/disabled coaches-1, Generator Motor car-1 LHB Coaches.

Visakhapatnam–Bangalore Cant–Visakhapatnam special (08543/08544)

1. Visakhapatnam–Bangalore Cant weekly special train (08543) will leave Visakhapatnam on Sundays at 3.55 p.m. from 5 March to 30 April and will reach Bangalore Cant the next day at 9.15 a.m.

2. In the return direction, Bangalore Cant–Visakhapatnam weekly special (08544) will leave Bangalore Cant at 3.50 p.m. on Mondays from 6 March to 1 April to 1 May and will reach Visakhapatnam the next day at 11.00 a.m.

Stoppages: Duvvada, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi,Jolarpettai,Kuppam,Bangarapeta,Krishnarajapuram between Visakhapatnam and Bangalore Cant

Composition: 2nd AC-1, 3rd AC-5, Sleeper Class-10, General Second Class-5, Second class-cum-luggage/disabled coaches-2.

Bhubaneswar–Tirupati–Bhubaneswar super-fast special (02809/02810)

1. Bhubaneswar–Tirupati weekly special train (02809) will leave Bhubaneswar on Saturdays at 1.30 p.m. from 4 March to 29 April and will reach Tirupati the next day at 7.50 a.m.

2. In the return direction, Tirupati–Bhubaneswar weekly special (02810) will leave Tirupati at 8 p.m. on Sundays from 5 March to 30 April and will reach Bhubaneswar the next day at 4.30 p.m.

Stoppages: Khurda Road, Balugan, Brahmapur, Palasa, Srikakulam, Vizayanagaram, Duvvada, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, and Renigunta between Bhubaneswar and Tirupati.

Composition: 3rd AC-16, Generator Motor car-2 LHB Coaches.
