Swarnandhra-2047 aimed at ushering in new era in Andhra: CM Naidu
The Centre's initiative of Vikasitha Bharat-2047 is aimed at elevating the country to the highest level by 2047
By Newsmeter Network Published on 14 Dec 2024 7:48 AM ISTAmaravati: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Friday said the Swarnandhra-2047 vision document is aimed at ushering in a new era to the state with the sole objective of taking the Telugu society to the pinnacle in the whole world.
Addressing a public meeting at Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada after releasing the the vision document, the Chief Minister said that the foundation to achieve the goal has been laid with this Swarnandhra-2047. "Bringing in this vision document within six months of coming to power reflects his unrelenting initiative," he said.
Congratulating all those on becoming partners in this journey, the Chief Minister profusely thanked everyone who attended the event. Chandrababu expressed confidence that India will grow as the most powerful force in the world under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He said the state government too has formulated the Swarnandhra-2047 vision document. The document contains 10 growth objectives, which include zero poverty, creating employment, skilled human resource development, conservation of water, utilization of technology in farming, global standard logistics, and comprehensive Swachandhra.
Before unveiling the document, both the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan interacted with women and students. Later, the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister along with the public representatives and officers released the document.
The Chief Minister said that since 1978, he has been winning all the elections, but for the first time he experienced a 93 percent success rate with a 53 percent strike rate in 2024 polls.
"I am happy to have a close friend like Pawan Kalyan," Chandrababu said.
Pointing out that the current per capita income is less than $3,000, the Chief Minister said that the state government has set the target to take the per capita income to $42,000 by 2047.
Recalling the statement of Pawan Kalyan that all others have seen only stones in the HiTech city area of Hyderabad, the Chief Minister said that he moved with a vision to develop the area like Singapore, Dubai, and New York.
"I feel proud to say that now Telangana, particularly Hyderabad city, stands as the highest per capita generating state in the country because of the foundation laid by me with my vision," Chandrababu said.
He said it was in 1999 when the country saw the first vision document. Chandrababu said he formulated -2020 and the results are visible now. He also exuded confidence that the Swarnandhra-2047 too will certainly be realized and wanted all those present to stand as witnesses to it.
Chandrababu also remembered TDP founder Late Mr NT Rama Rao, on this occasion and stated that the Telugu society has got global recognition only because of him. It was the former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao, another son of this soil, who transformed the entire economic structure of the whole nation by introducing radical economic reforms, he said.
Assuring farmers of justice, the Chief Minister said they will be partners in the industries wherever they are set up. Promising to promote Andhra Pradesh as a clean energy hub, the Chief Minister said that along with the vision document, 20 new policies are also being adopted.
The Chief Minister said the focus is being laid on decentralization of power and development and announced that 175 industrial parks will be set up in all the 175 Assembly segments in the state. Expressing the hope that Andhra Valley will be a success story, Chandrababu Naidu called upon the people to become partners to realize this goal.
The Chief Minister felt the need to have a stable government for the development of the state. He said that he is moving ahead with the sole aim of taking Telugu society to new heights.
