The YSRCP is leading in all the seats in ZPTC and MPTC elections.

Atchannaidu, on Sunday termed as "bogus" the results of the ZPTC and MPTC elections and alleged that the ruling YSRCP had resorted to violations, attacks, and forced unanimous elections in many places.
The YSRCP is leading in all the seats in ZPTC and MPTC elections.
Mr. Atchannaidu challenged Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy to cancel the Parishad elections and issue a fresh notification to hold free and fair polls. Can the ruling YSRCP leaders face the rising anti-incumbency factor face to face? he asked and said the Chief Minister has been making a mockery of all constitutional institutions and processes with the elections being no exception.
In a statement here, the senior TDP leader recalled how the Chief Minister had threatened his ministers and MLAs with dire consequences, including political exile, if they failed to win the Parishad elections. As a result, the ruling party leaders resorted to harassment, misuse of the government machinery, and electoral violations. The most shameful part in all this was that the police and officials of all concerned departments became a party to the ruling party's excesses.
Mr. Atchannaidu said that since day one, the Jagan-led YSRCP has been throwing the democratic norms to the winds at each and every step. The Parishad election results would not reflect the true mandate given by the people who were upset with the atrocious regime, he claimed, adding that these results would only highlight the extreme levels to which the ruling YSRCP leaders would go in their bid to win the elections.
They murdered democracy, the senior TDP leader said and asked why the people would give unanimous results when the government had failed on all fronts? He alleged that the YSRCP had failed to keep most of its promises made in the Padayatra and in the party election manifesto.
