Vijayawada: In a surprising incident, a woman lodged a complaint against a dog for tearing a poster of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy in Vijayawada.

A sticker with the slogan ‘Jagananna Maa Bhavishyathu’ was pasted on a house as part of the ongoing state-wide survey by the ruling party. A video of a dog tearing the sticker with Jagan Mohan Reddy’s photo on it had gone viral.

Responding to the video, TDP Vijayawada central women leader Dasari Udaya Sri lodged a complaint to take immediate action against the dog.

Udaya Sri, in a sarcastic tone, told the media, “We have huge respect for Jagan Mohan Reddy whose party won 151 Assembly seats. A dog insulting our beloved leader has hurt six crore people of the state. We have asked the police to nab the dog and the person behind the incident.”

She continued, “Jagan Mohan Reddy’s respect should not be degraded. No such incidents should be repeated against the leader.”
