TDP leader Taraka Ratna, who suffered cardiac arrest, shifted to Bangalore hospital

Kuppam: After actor-turned-TDP leader Taraka Ratna, who suffered cardiac arrest during Nara Lokesh's padayatra, has been shifted to Narayana Hrudayalaya hospital in Bangalore.

Taraka Ratna suffered cardiac arrest during TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh’s padayatra, ‘Yuva Galam,’ in Kuppam on January 27. He was immediately treated at PES super-specialty hospital where specialists performed an angiogram procedure. Doctors said he has a few blocks in his heart.

On Friday evening, doctors from Bangalore arrived in Kuppam and examined his condition. Doctors advised him to shift to Bangalore. He is currently under ECMO treatment.

The hospital authorities officially released a health bulletin on his health condition. The doctors said, he remains in a critical state on maximal support. He will continue to be under rigorous evaluation and treatment in the coming days.


TDP chief Nara Chandra Babu Naidu will reach Bangalore by evening.
