Tirupati: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) chairman Y.V. Subba Reddy on Friday launched a mobile app called TTDevasthanams to provide better digital services to devotees.
āThere already was a mobile app for devotees called Govinda, but it has been modernised, more applications have been incorporated, and a new app has been created,ā Mr. Subba Reddy said.
This app lets devotees book Tirumala Srivari darshan, services, accommodations, Angapradakshina, Sarvadarshan, and Srivari Seva. The app also enables devotees to make donations. Also, push notifications can determine what will happen at the Tirumala Srivari Temple. Pilgrims can watch SVBC broadcasts via live streaming through this app.
The IT department of TTD and Jio worked together to make the app. The chairman welcomed suggestions and queries from devotees on the new app services.
Digital gateway for devotees
TTD EO A.V Dharma Reddy said the app will be a digital gateway for devoteesā needs. Devotees do not need a password and can access the app with an OTP.
