Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy asked the education department to complete Nadu Nedu works within the stipulated time.
During the review meeting held at the camp office, Chief Minister said infrastructure is being developed in 22,344 schools under the second phase of the program. He directed the officials to ensure works are started in all the schools by month-end. He instructed the officials to set up TVs in the schools. He asked the officials to consider appointing watchmen in schools for the safety of the property.
"Training will be provided for the teachers of the schools which got CBSE affiliation to achieve best results. Vidya Kanuka kits will be distributed to the students by the time schools reopen", he said.
Jagan said the state government has been ensuring one junior college or high school plus or KGBV for women in each Mandal. He said high schools in 292 mandals will be upgraded either to High School Plus or Junior College in this regard.
Responding to the less pass percentage achieved by many schools in SSC 2022, the Chief Minister said the state government endeavors to provide quality education. "The government is conducting exams again for those students who failed and they also will be considered as regular exams, also a chance is given for the passed students to write betterment exams in two subjects", he said.
