Hyderabad: On the occasion of Ugadi, Andhra Pradesh Human Resource Development (HRD) and IT Minister Nara Lokesh has released a job calendar for the youth of the state. Fulfilling a key promise made during his Yuva Galam padayatra, the Minister released the AP Job Calendar 2026, outlining the recruitment of 10,060 posts across various government departments.

Describing the calendar as an Ugadi gift, Lokesh stated that the 'People's Government' is committed to a structured and transparent approach to employment.

He further declared that the release of a job calendar will now become a regular tradition every year on Ugadi.

Recruitment Schedule

The newly released calendar provides a roadmap for aspirants, specifying notification dates for different sectors. Here is the schedule:

On May 15, 2026, a recruitment notification will be released for 1,500 posts in the Higher Education department.

On August 15, 2026, the government will issue a notification for 91 vacancies in Group I services.

Also on August 15, 2026, a major recruitment drive for 2,778 posts in the Home (Police) Department will be announced.

Further notifications for 928 vacancies across Other Departments are scheduled to be released on August 15, 2026.

On September 15, 2026, the state will notify 750 vacancies for Group II positions.

The Engineering sector will see a notification for 503 posts on September 15, 2026.

Recruitment for an additional 506 posts in various Other Departments will also be announced on September 15, 2026.

On October 15, 2026, a notification will be released for 3,004 vacancies in School and Intermediate Education, the largest share in this calendar.
