US Consul General Jennifer Larson meets Jagan; discusses investment, GDP growth, pandemic

Jennifer Larson, the newly appointed Consul General of the United States in Hyderabad, met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS. Jagan Mohan Reddy at his camp office on Wednesday.

Jennifer Larson, who is on her first visit to AP since taking up her new role, praised the CM for implementing best practices in dealing with the Covid pandemic despite the state's financial constraints. She also praised him for the state's GDP growth rate.

The visiting dignitary also praised the working style of Visakhapatnam's American Corner, the third in India.

The Chief Minister informed her that his administration has prioritized education, medicine, and agriculture, and he urged her to encourage investment in the state. He promised to provide all necessary assistance to those looking to invest.

Dr. K.S. Jawahar Reddy, Special Chief Secretary to the CM, Special Secretary Dr. M. Hari Krishna, and Consul General officers took part in the interaction.
