Vizag: CII Partnership Summit to kick off on Nov 14; 83 foreign ministers, 47 ambassadors participating

Visakhapatnam: The stage is all set for the CII Partnership Summit 2025 in Visakhapatnam:
The summit, jointly organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Andhra Pradesh government, will take place at the AU Engineering College Grounds on November 14 -15.
Themed `Technology, Trust, Trade’, the summit is touted as one of the most significant events in Andhra Pradesh this year.
Preparations for the fifth edition of the summit are in their final stages. Eight massive German hangar-style halls have been constructed at the venue. Tourist spots, major city intersections, and the scenic Beach Road have been beautified to welcome domestic and international delegates. Development works worth nearly ₹100 crore have been undertaken across Visakhapatnam in connection with the event. Around 1,200 rooms in leading hotels have been reserved for visiting guests, with parking arrangements made for over 800 vehicles.
Summit Logo Symbolism
The logo of Partnership Summit 2025 embodies the themes of competitiveness, globalization, inclusiveness, sustainability, and trust. It has been designed to highlight Andhra Pradesh’s vast investment potential, featuring seven symbolic images representing sectors such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence, renewable energy, fast-track clearances, and abundant resources. The orange and green hues, inspired by the Indian flag, reflect the vibrancy and power of technology, while a rotating globe at the center signifies global collaboration and shared growth.
High-Level Participation
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will arrive in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday night, stay at the port guesthouse. He will review the summit arrangements and interact with industry leaders at a meeting scheduled at Hotel Novotel on November 13. Later, he will host a grand dinner for delegates at the Radisson Blu Hotel.
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar is expected to arrive from New Delhi on November 14 by a special flight, while Governor S. Abdul Nazeer will also reach the city on the same day.
Global Representation
The summit will see participation from 83 foreign ministers and 47 ambassadors, alongside 41 eminent speakers from India and abroad. Several major industrial delegations from East and Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and other regions are also set to attend, making this edition one of the most globally diverse Partnership Summits to date.
Summit will have country sessions with Russia, Japan, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore to deepen trade, technology, and supply chain collaboration.
410 MoUs
Andhra Pradesh will sign 410 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) at the CII Partnership Summit, unlocking ₹9.8 lakh crore in investment commitments and generating 7.5 lakh proposed jobs across the state.

Multiple Government of Andhra Pradesh (GoAP) sessions position AP as a strategic hub across defence–aerospace–space–drones; electronics and semiconductors; logistics and coastal manufacturing; agribusiness and food processing; sustainable cities; tourism and MICE; quantum computing; green hydrogen; and Tier-2 IT and GCC expansion.
Participation: 300 overseas delegates from 45 countries, including G20 members; 72 international speakers.
Dignitaries expected: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, Union Aviation Minister Ram Naidu, Union Railways/I&B/Electronics Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union WCD Minister Annapurna Devi, and Minister of State (Independent Charge) Dr. Jitendra Singh.
