A woman sub-inspector ended her life at Police Training College (PTC) hostel in Vizianagaram on Sunday.

Vizianagaram: A woman sub-inspector ended her life at Police Training College (PTC) hostel in Vizianagaram on Sunday.
K Bhavani (25) who belongs to the 2018 batch of sub-inspector was posted at Sakhinetipalli police station of East Godavari district. Hailing from Salempalem village in Krishna district, she was enrolled for in-service training.
According to PTC officials, Bhavani completed her training on Saturday and was scheduled to join her place of posting in the evening.
But she stayed back and died by suicide. Officers suspect that she might have taken the extreme step due to some domestic issues. Police have sent the body to the government hospital for post mortem.
Police are also examined her mobile phone to ascertain the exact reasons for the extreme step.
