YSRCP spokesperson Ambati slams Chandrababu, calls TDP manifesto farce
By Newsmeter Network Published on 27 Feb 2021 12:30 PM GMTVijayawada February 26: YSRCP spokesperson and MLA Ambati Rambabu termed the TDP manifesto for civic polls as "farce and impracticable".
Addressing a press conference here on Friday, he said Chandrababu Naidu is reeling under frustration after the debacle in the Kuppam Panchayat polls. He said TDP had won only 14 of the total 89 seats in Kuppam as people are fed up with Chandrababu.
"Since TDP lost in the polls, Naidu came running to town ahead of Municipal polls. Otherwise, he would have never visited Kuppam even for filing nomination," he said.
He said the TDP manifesto for municipal polls is a farce as Chandrababu cannot implement it as Leader of Opposition.
"Chandrababu failed to fulfill the promises when he was in power. He even failed to recognize the services of his party workers including Jr NTR. Chandrababu, who had earlier taken junior NTR for an election campaign, had sidelined him after the defeat," he said.
Ambati Rambabu said Chandrababu should be ashamed for demanding water for Kuppam despite the fact that he was Chief Minister for 14 years.
Ambati Rambabu also hit out at Nara Lokesh for passing abusive comments against Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. "People have faith in the Chief Minister. He should not forget defeat in Mangalagiri," he said.
