Hyderabad: CISF sub-inspector Vitthal Madar completed his shift on Friday afternoon and was going home in his car when he saw a man having seizures. The officer quickly jumped into action and administered first aid, saving the man's life.

Mr. Madar was near the Dharma Sai temple in Shamshabad when he noticed Laxmana Chary (50), a resident of Mamidpally village, who was in an auto-rickshaw having fits. The man was unable to breathe. The other passengers in the auto were helpless.

The SI removed the man's shoes, rubbed his feet, wiped the froth on the man's mouth, and scattered the crowd. Mr. Madar along with CISF head constable Ramesh carried Chary to his vehicle and drove him to Srinivasa Hospital in Shamshabad where he was provided treatment.

Mr. Chary's family thanked the two CISF personnel for the life-saving act.
