14 more Omicron cases in TS; total tally leaps to 38
Out of the 14 new cases, 2 are from 'at-risk' countries and 12 are from non-risk countries.

Hyderabad: On 22 December, Telangana reported 14 new cases of Omicron taking the total tally of Omicron cases in the state to 38.
Out of the 14 new cases, 2 are from 'at-risk' countries and 12 are from non-risk countries.
On Wednesday, 259 passengers were screened at RGIA out of which 4 turned Covid-19 positive. These four samples have been sent for genome sequencing.
Since December 1, a total of 9381 passengers have been tested for Omicron variant of Covid-19 at RGIA, Hyderabad.
A total of 37,353 samples were tested in the state today out of which 182 turned Covid-19 positive. One person died and 196 recovered due to Covid-19 on Wednesday.
