Hyderabad: Telangana government has regularised the existing 38 fast-track courts and accorded sanction to 1098 posts for smooth and effective functioning of the District Judiciary to render speedy justice to the public. It is aimed to facilitate the establishment of fast-track courts in the newly carved out revenue districts in the state.
On the request of the Registrar General of the High Court and after careful examination of the proposal, the government has decided to convert the existing 38 fast track courts including 22 fast track courts in the cadre of Additional District and Sessions Judge and 16 Fast Track Courts in the cadre of Senior Civil Judge in the state into permanent regular courts, according to a Government Order issued by Secretary to Government M A Mannan Farooqui.
A separate GO issued by Special Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao also accorded sanction for the creation of 1098 posts to 22 fast Track courts ( 31 posts for each court) and 16 Fast Track courts ( 26 posts for each court). The sanctioned posts include district judges, senior civil judges, chief administrative officers, superintendents, and senior assistants.
