4 of family killed in Mulugu after their car rams into RTC bus

The family was from Chandupatla village in Mulugu and was travelling to Kesamudram in Mahabubabad district and not to the Medaram Jatara, according to Sangram Singh Patil, an SI.
"From the information we have gathered so far, it has been found that their car was trying to overtake a vehicle near a sharp turn. At the same time, a bus was coming from the opposite direction," he said. Further investigation is ongoing and a case has been filed for overspeeding and rash driving under Section 304 A and 337 of the Indian Penal Code, he added.
The SI explained that the car was severely damaged in the collision. "It took a long time to remove the bodies from the mangled car. They have now been sent for autopsy," he said.
The accident took place at around 8.30 a.m after the family had crossed the Gattamma temple on the outskirts of Mulugu town.
