Announce 12% quota for minorities or face protests: JAC to KCR
Recently KCR issued a GO providing 10% reservation to STs. However, no reservation was announced for Muslims.

The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by Mohd Mushtaq Malik, convener, Joint Action Committee (JAC) of Andhra Pradesh (AP) and Telangana Tehreek Muslim Shaban.
The roundtable was held to discuss KCR's promise of a 12 percent reservation to minorities. The JAC said before the formation of Telangana, KCR had promised 12 percent reservation. Recently KCR issued a GO providing 10% reservation to STs. However, no reservation was announced for Muslims.
The JAC members alleged that KCR's promise of minority finance corporation loans for weaker sections has remained a pipe dream. "The government has received nearly 2,60,000 applications in the last eight years, but the government has not issued loans to minorities ", said the committee members.
The JAC members said they would hold a protest against the BRS government if they failed to fulfill the promises within 15 days.Recently KCR issued a GO providing 10% reservation to STs. However, no reservation was announced for Muslims.
