Hyderabad: The Congress party's Bharat Jodo Yatra (BJY) will now be on the cover of students' notebooks. Three Congress workers in the Mahabubnagar district, where the Yatra is currently going on, came up with the idea. They will distribute the BJY notebooks to 1,000 children.
Mohammed Fayaz, Mohd. Gulam Ahmed, and Mohammed Ali will distribute the notebooks to children from poor families. The three decided to seize the opportunity and printed the notebooks with the BJY logo.
Fayaz said, "It's a historical yatra and since Rahul Gandhi has come to Mahbubnagar, I thought it was the best gesture."
He is going to meet Mr. Gandhi and show him the notebooks before he distributes them.
When asked why notebooks, he said, "Education is important and many families in Mahbubnagar are unable to bear the education expenses. The aim is to help them by distributing the notebooks."
