BRS leader Bandari Narender dies of cardiac arrest at party event in Jagtial

Hyderabad: Bandari Narender, a senior leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and husband of local municipal councillor Bandari Rajani, passed away on Saturday after a cardiac arrest during a party event in Jagtial district of Telangana.

According to reports, Narender was participating in a BRS event at the Telangana Thalli statue in Jagtial, where he was dancing to Oggu Dolu along with other party activists. Suddenly, he collapsed due to chest pain. A BRS activist immediately conducted CPR, following which Narender got up and walked up to a car to go to the hospital. However, he could not survive and doctors declared him dead upon reaching the hospital.



The incident occurred during the Athmeeya Sammelanam, which was organised to energise the BRS party ahead of its formation day on 27 April. The event was held in Gandhi Nagar and was attended by several party leaders and cultural artists.

BRS activists were dancing at the Telangana Thalli statue near the new bus stand as part of the event in which MLC K. Kavitha was scheduled to participate.




Upon hearing about the incident, Kavitha cancelled her Jagtial tour and headed to Narender’s house where she met and consoled his family members. Narender’s sudden demise has left the BRS party in shock and mourning.

The video of Narender collapsing while dancing is circulating on social media. In the video, he can be seen performing the dance steps along with other BRS leaders amid a festive atmosphere. The news of his death has also triggered an outpouring of grief on social media, with many expressing their condolences and sharing memories of the leader.
