CM Revanth launches ‘Invest In Telangana’ campaign at World Economic Forum in Davos
CM Revanth Reddy showcased the youngest State of Telangana as the best destination for investment to the investors in the meeting.
By Newsmeter Network Published on 16 Jan 2024 8:58 AM GMTHyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, currently attending the three-day 54th annual conference of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, launched the Telangana government’s ‘Invest In Telangana’ campaign.
On the first day of the WEF conference, the delegation of Telangana officials led by CM Revanth Reddy held deliberations with many industrialists and investors. The delegation explained to the investors the developments in Telangana that have made the city the centre for IT and biomedical sciences.
The CM showcased the youngest State of Telangana as the best destination for investment to the investors in the meeting.
Investments from IT giants
Revanth met WEF president Borge Brende, other organisers and dignitaries at Davos on Monday and elaborated on the investment opportunities in Telangana with the representatives of blue chip companies.
The chief minister explained the State government’s commitment to promote Telangana as the most sought-after venue for investments. The CM emphasised that the government, industrialists and business stakeholders should work in tandem to help people become rich and improve their living standards along with sustainable development.
CM Revanth meets Ethiopian deputy PM
Later, CM Revanth Reddy called on Ethiopian deputy prime minister Demeke Hassen and illustrated the Telangana government’s road map for industrial development in the meeting.
The Telangana delegation, led by CM Revanth and IT minister Sridhar Babu, held talks with the National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) president Debjani Ghosh. The meeting laid a special focus on skill development and the future action plans in IT.
The Telangana delegation and NASSCOM president held parleys on skill development, placement commitment and extending help to create job opportunities for the youth studying engineering and related courses.
