Cold grips Telangana: Sangareddys Nyalkal records 13.1°C

Hyderabad: Even before the winter season begins in Telangana, temperatures have drastically dropped in the state. Many places in the state recorded temperatures below 15°Celsius.

In the last 24 hours, the lowest minimum temperature of 13.1°C was recorded at Nyalkal in Sangareddy. Vikarabad, Siddipet, Rangareddy, and Medak recorded low temperatures ranging around 14°C.

On 20 October, Telangana weatherman T. Balaji said the city would see unusually cold weather from 22 to 25 October. He said this is due to the cyclone in the Bay of Bengal and the dry winds blowing into Telangana.

Balaji tweeted, "It will get unusually cold in Telangana including Hyderabad during October 22-26 as we are having massive dry winds pushing from North. Temperature may dip upto 14-15 degrees Celsius."
