Hyderabad: After the massive success of its Bharat Jodo Yatra, the Congress party launched its new initiative ‘Hath se Hath Jodo Yatra’ on Republic Day.

In the first phase, the three-month-long electoral outreach campaign will be arranged at the village and block levels. In the second phase, the yatra will be arranged at the district level, and in the third phase, at the state level. Congress hopes to reach 10 lakh election polling booths, 2.5 lakh village panchayats, and 6 lakh villages.

In Telangana, MLC Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu will start the yatra and take Rahul Gandhi’s message to every home in Mamunur Village under Errupalem mandal in the Madhira constituency and spread the Congress party’s ideology.

Announcing the start of the Hath se Hath Jodo Yatra, All India Congress Committee (AICC) media department in charge Pawan Khera said, “Bharat Jodo Yatra culminates on 30 January but it doesn’t mean that our work is over. The yatra’s purpose will continue after that also. Our workers will take Rahul Gandhi’s message and the message of the Congress party to six lakh villages in the country under Hath Se Hath Jodo Yatra.”

The Congress party will put up Hath se Hath Jodo posters and distribute leaflets. It will also release a charge sheet on the rule of BRS at the state level and the BJP at the Centre.
