He also wanted the construction of a modern town hall with 2000 capacity to conduct meetings, conferences, and other programmes. For this, the CM instructed the Collector and local MLA to identify suitable land at the centrally located place.
"Since Nalgonda population is on the increase, footpaths should be provided for the pedestrians. He wanted works for the underground drainage should be taken up. Like Uppal Bhagayath, land pooling should be done to construct the colonies," he said.
Officials informed the CM that Nalgonda used to have a very serious drinking water problem and with Mission Bhagiratha it has been solved. "Decades ago for the construction projects, poor workers from Sc, ST, BC and Minority communities participated, they are residing here. Nagarjunasagar became a Municipality. They have constructed houses on a small piece of land. It is the responsibility of the government to provide them Pattas," the CM said.
