Devotional vs item song: BJP Goshamahal MLA files complaint against Devi Sri Prasad

Hyderabad, December 18: Raja Singh Lodh, BJP MLA from Goshamahal Assembly in Telangana on Saturday filed a complaint against Tollywood music director Devi Sri Prasad for hurting Hindu sentiments by making a devotional song in the tune of an item song.
In his complaint to the Commissioner of Police, the MLA said that the director had stated in a YouTube video that he had no differentiation between a devotional song and an item song.
He sought the Commissioner to immediately take action against Devi Sri Prasad.
