Electoral rolls for Mahabubnagar, Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad to be prepared from scratch: ECI
The election comes following the retirement of the members of the Telangana Legislative Council from the Mahabubnagar-Ranga Reddy-Hyderabad Teachers' Constituency on March 29, 2023.

Hyderabad: The Election Commission of India has ordered that the electoral rolls for Mahabubnagar-Ranga Reddy-Hyderabad in Telangana State's Legislative Council should be prepared from scratch.
The election comes following the retirement of the members of the Telangana Legislative Council from the Mahabubnagar-Ranga Reddy-Hyderabad Teachers' Constituency on March 29, 2023.
The deadline for submitting Form 19 election applications is November 7, 2022. The manuscripts and draft electoral rolls are to be prepared by 19 November 2022. The draft publication of electoral rolls is scheduled on 23 November 2022.
Between November 23, 2022 and December 9, 2022, claims and objections may be filed. The claims and objections must be resolved by December 25, 2022, and supplements must be prepared and printed.
On November 30, 2022, the final electoral rolls will be published.
Because the electoral rolls for the Teachers' Constituencies must be prepared from scratch, all persons whose names are on the existing rolls must also submit a new application in the prescribed modified Form 19.
Every application in prescribed modified Form 19 by a person seeking enrolment in Teachers' Constituency shall be accompanied by requisite documents/certificate. The applicants can submit these applications through www.ceotelangana.nic.
