Expose Centre’s anti-people policies in Parliament: KCR to BRS MPs
KCR told MPs to join hands with other opposition leaders to highlight the mistakes of the Modi government.
By Newsmeter Network Published on 30 Jan 2023 2:35 AM GMTHyderabad: Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao has asked BRS MPs to expose the Centre’s anti-people policies in the parliament. Ahead of the budget session, KCR chaired the BRS Parliamentary Party meeting at Pragati Bhavan on Sunday.
KCR told MPs to join hands with other opposition leaders to highlight the mistakes of the Modi government.
"The policies of the BJP government at the Center are obstacles in the integrity and development of the country. The MPs should protest in both houses of the Parliament on the destructive economic policies being followed by the central government," he said.
BRS MPs were asked to inform the nation about the progress of Telangana. KCR said the central government is misusing Governor’s office to settle its political scores in opposition-led state governments.
He directed the MPs to highlight the increase in the prices of essential commodities like petrol, diesel, and cooking gas.
He alleged that the central government needs to be more serious about the promises made to Telangana under the AP Reorganisation Act. He asked MPs to raise their voice in this regard.
The meeting was attended by BRS Parliamentary leaders K. Keshava Rao (Rajya Sabha), Nama Nageshwar Rao (Lok Sabha), MPs Joginapalli Santosh Kumar, K.R. Suresh Reddy, Badugula Lingaya Yadav, Vaddiraju Ravichandra, Bandi Parthasarathy, Devakonda Damodar Rao, Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, Bibi Patil, Manne Srinivas Reddy, Maloth Kavita, Pasunuri Dayakar, Borlakunta Venkatesh, and Pothuganti Ramulu.
