Hyderabad: The stage is all set for the Telangana Rising Global Summit scheduled to be held at Future City, Mirbanpet, from December 8 to 9
Spread over 100 acres, the mega venue is being developed with international standards of infrastructure, digital connectivity, power supply, and security, as the state prepares to host top industrialists, global investors, and eminent personalities from across the world. Arrangements are in the final stages.
Eight exclusive venues over 14,000 Sq. Metres
About eight specially designed venues, covering nearly 14,000 square metres, are being erected at the summit grounds.
These include a grand Inaugural Hall, multiple breakout session halls, media rooms, delegation lounges, joining halls, site offices, and dedicated police and fire service stations.
Special interaction rooms are also being set up for Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to engage with visiting global leaders and investors.
Dry Run on Sunday; Senior officials monitoring works
Work at the venue is being carried out on a war footing. A full-scale dry run of summit operations will be conducted on Sunday to identify and rectify any gaps.
Senior officials, including DGP Shivadhar Reddy, TGIC MD Shashank, HMWS MD Ashok Reddy, Rachakonda CP Sudheer Babu, and SPEED Additional CEO EV Narasimha Reddy, are personally monitoring the preparations.
The DGP conducted a two-hour inspection of the venue on Friday and reviewed the entire security plan.
Underground power network, round-the-clock monitoring
To ensure an uninterrupted electricity supply, the Southern Telangana Power Distribution Company (TSSPDCL) has laid a 2-km underground double-circuit power line from the 33/11 kV Mirbanpet substation to the venue.
Transformers of 100 kVA, 160 kVA (two units), and 315 kVA (two units) have been installed across different locations, while a 315 kVA mobile transformer remains on standby for emergency backup.
Around 150 technical personnel have been deployed to monitor power supply round-the-clock throughout the summit.
High-Speed Internet: 10 Gbps for 10,000 Users
The Telangana Fiber Grid (T-Fiber) has established a 100 per cent underground digital network across the venue. The facility will provide 10 Gbps high-speed internet, enabling around 10,000 users to access Wi-Fi simultaneously.
A dedicated Network Operations Centre (NOC) has been set up onsite for continuous monitoring, while a QR code-based one-step login facility has been introduced for seamless connectivity. Airtel and Jio have also installed temporary mobile towers to strengthen telecom services.
LED screens and Massive AC cooling
The entire 100-acre venue is being fitted with large LED display screens to relay summit proceedings and showcase the Telangana Rising campaign.
A gigantic 85-metre-wide LED screen in front of the main stage will be the main visual attraction. Across eight halls, air-conditioning systems with a combined cooling capacity of 3,000 tonnes have been installed to ensure comfort for delegates.
Facilities for 5,000 attendees
Authorities estimate that about 2,000 domestic and international delegates will attend the summit. Including the Chief Minister, ministers, officials, police, and support staff, nearly 5,000 people are expected to be present at any given time.
Dining facilities spanning 6,500 sq. metres, along with drinking water, sanitation, and public convenience infrastructure, are being arranged. After the summit, the venue will remain open for public viewing till December 13.
Three-tier security cover with 1,000 CCTV Cameras
Given the presence of national and international dignitaries, Telangana Police have implemented a three-layer security system.
Nearly 1,000 CCTV cameras are being installed and linked to a central police control room.
Over 1,500 police personnel from Hyderabad, Cyberabad, Rachakonda, and Mahabubnagar are deployed for law and order.
An additional 1,000 traffic police personnel will handle diversions, parking, and vehicle regulation.
Elaborate barricading, route diversions, and parking management systems are also in place.
Roads, hoardings, and final touches
Approach roads to the venue have been cleared of obstructions and newly laid, particularly along the Tukkuguda–Srisailam highway.
The route from the Outer Ring Road to Future City has been decorated with Telangana Rising-themed hoardings, highlighting key government initiatives across sectors such as industry, women's empowerment, youth, agriculture, and human resources.
