Telangana: Miscreants threw eggs at TPCC president Revanth Reddy when he was addressing the gathering during `Hath Se Hath Jodo Padyatra' at Bhupalpally on Tuesday.
Despite the trouble, Revanth Reddy continued his speech and asked his security and supporters to ignore it. Security personnel threw a ring around the Congress leader and held a piece of cloth to prevent him from an `egg attackā.
Revanth Reddy was talking about BRS workers attacking the Congress workers when some miscreants threw eggs and tomatoes at him.
BRS goons threw stones on our street corner meeting in #Bhupalapally & tried to disturb it.

But we are #Congress soldiers and are not afraid of anyone.
Itās just 16 days of #YatraForChange & you see the fear in BRS party. #HaathSeHaathJodo pic.twitter.com/kJLglCauKS
Revanth Reddy continued his speech and accused the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) of the attack. "If they have the courage, the BRS leaders should come in front of me instead of sending someone to throw eggs and tomatoes at me," said Revanth after the attack.
Congress leaders strongly condemn the attack and decided to organize protests on a large scale. "Such physical attacks and obstructing meetings are illegal in a democracy. In protest, effigies of Chief minister KCR and IT minister KTR should be burnt in all Mandal centers", said TPCC Working President, (Organization) Mahesh Kumar Goud.
