The petitioner said that it is upset by the inaction of the CEO, not taking action against the chief minister, despite the fact that a complaint was lodged with the CEO on November 3.
The petitioner alleged that the CM has violated the model code of conduct by saying that the Congress party and its workers are ‘helpless fools, idiots who cannot work and have no guts to face the elections in the Telangana State.’ The petitioner further argued that the speech made by CM KCR falls under the category of ‘hate speech and may instigate ostracism, segregation, discrimination in the society, which may lead to violence in the state.’
The ECI, Telangana CEO and CM KCR are the respondents in the petition and it may come up for hearing before a Single Bench within a day or two.
