Hindu Vahini gets HC nod to hold Sri Rama Navami Shobha Yatra in Bhainsa

The court directed the petitioners to ensure no person having criminal antecedents shall participate in the rally

Hyderabad: On Tuesday, the Telangana High Court Single Bench of Justice Bollam Vijaysen Reddy directed the SP of Nirmal district to permit the Hindu Vahini, Bhainsa Town, and two locals from Thanur Village, Bhainsa to conduct Shree Ram Navami Shobha Yathra separately at Bhainsa Town and Thanur village from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on 30 March.

The court directed the petitioners to ensure no person having criminal antecedents shall participate in the rally. It further said no DJ/sound systems shall be played within a 150 metre radius of mosques and no provocative and politically-sensitive speeches shall be raised during the Yatra.

The judge was hearing two writ petitions filed in way of lunch motion by Hinduvahini, Bhainsa Town, and two villagers of Thanur village, Bhainsa separately, seeking directions to the SP of Nirmal to permit them to carry out the Shri Ramnavami Shobha Yatra.

Samala Ravinder, GP Home, appeared for the state.

T Suryakaran Reddy, senior counsel, appeared for both petitioners.
