Hyderabad: Ex-MLA Dharmapuri Srinivas gets warm welcome at Gandhi Bhavan

Hyderabad: Gandhi Bhavan in Telangana saw a lot of cheer from party workers and senior leaders on Sunday as Dharmapuri Srinivas visited the party office.
Dharmapuri Srinivas is the former president of the Andhra Pradesh Congress party and former MLA of the state.
A senior leader, he is credited for the Congress partyās rule in the state.
He joined the Bharat Rasthra Samiti but is no longer associated with them.
Mr. Srinivas came to the party office in his wheelchair. He was surrounded by Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Revanth Reddy and other senior party leaders, including Uttam Kumar Reddy, Shabbir Ali, Renuka Choudhary, Ponnalal Laksmaiah, Komati Reddy, Anjan Kumar, and All India Congress Committee in-charge Manik Rao Thackeray.
The leaders informed him of the efforts being taken by their leader Rahul Gandhi.
Protests outside Gandhi Bhavan
Congress party workers and leaders gathered outside Gandhi Bhavan to protest against the disqualification of Rahul Gandhi from the Lok Sabha.
Meanwhile, civil society members are to protest at Tank Bund against Mr. Gandhiās disqualification. They are coming together to show their support for the Congress leader.

Cantonment leaders of BRS party Gyarasani Ram Kumar son of the former vice-chairman of Gyasrasani Gauri Shankar also joined the Congress party today at Gandhi Bhavan.
