Hyderabad: The Telangana IT and industries minister K.T Rama Rao on Thursday said he doesn't debate with criminals when asked to debate with Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Revanth Reddy. He was replying to a Twitter user.
The Twitter user had asked, "Sir please debeat with @revanth_anumula sir as he is in @Tolivelugu office and your welcome at any time as you challenged prove yourself as people belive you @KTRTRS Will come sir? (sic)."
To this, KTR had replied, "I don't debate with Criminals."
Earlier in the day, Revanth Reddy had tweeted, "I'm ready for the challenge thrown by @KTRTRS today at 5pm in @Tolivelugu studio on what Congress & TRS did for farmers. I urge him to come forward for a healthy debate on farmer's issues as it was he who challenged. Hope the outcome helps farmers of the state."
Another Twitter user had asked KTR, "A habitual blackmailer, land grabber, tax evader, conspirator, corrupter, cheater, #Note4Vote thief who bought PCC Cheap post for Rs.50 Cr & who is working for the #BakwaasJhumlaParty is challenging you for a debate. "Got any message for him Anna @KTRTRS?"
KTR replied, "Let him debate MLA Elvis Stephenson Garu. I don't get into debates with criminals and 420s like him."
When asked by a Twitter user about his views on BJP's proposal to change the name of Hyderabad to Bhagyanagar, KTR said, "Silly political stunts."
