International Women’s Day: Mahindra Tractors celebrates contribution of its female workforce at Zaheerabad
Employing over 1,800 people, the facility produces 11 different platforms

Zaheerabad: On International Women’s Day, Mahindra Tractors, a part of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., held a colorful function to celebrate the contribution of its female workforce.
With over 200 women employees, the Zaheerabad plant is one of the company’s key manufacturing units.
Workplace Policies for Women Employees
The company has implemented policies aimed at providing flexibility and work-life balance for women employees. One such initiative includes a five-year “career reassuring and flexibility” policy, introduced to support women through motherhood and other personal responsibilities.
Zaheerabad Plant’s Role in Mahindra’s Operations
Operational since 2012, the Zaheerabad facility is Asia’s largest tractor manufacturing unit under one roof, with an annual production capacity of 173,000 tractors. The plant exports tractors to over 60 countries, including the U.S., Brazil, and markets in Africa.
Employing over 1,800 people, the facility produces 11 different platforms and over 400 tractor models, ranging from 21 to 100 horsepower.
Women’s Day Observed Across Mahindra Plants
Women’s Day celebrations are also being held at Mahindra’s other manufacturing units in Mumbai, Nagpur, Rudrapur, Jaipur, and Pithampur. The company continues to focus on workplace policies that address gender diversity and inclusion in its operations.
