KB Asifabad to get PM's Award for Excellence in Public Administration 2021

Hyderabad: Kumuram Bheem Asifabad district has won the Prime Minister's Award for Excellence in Public Administration for the year 2021. The award is being given for the district's success in implementing and promoting people's participation in Poshan Abhiyan.
In his letter to Telangana chief secretary Somesh Kumar and district collector Rahul Raj P.S, V. Srinivas, the secretary of the government of India, wrote, "It gives me great pleasure to inform you that district Kumuram Bheem Asifabad of your state has been selected for the Prime Minister's Award for Excellence in Public Administration, 2021, in implementing, promoting 'Jan Bhagidari' or 'People's Participation in Poshan Abhiyan.'"
The award will be received by KB Asifabad collector Rahul Raj P.S from Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Civil Services Day event organised by the department of administrative reforms and public grievances on 21 April at the Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. Poshan Abhiyaan or National Nutrition Mission is the Union government's programme launched in 2018 to improve the nutritional outcomes for children, pregnant women, and lactating mothers.
