Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi’s (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao has appointed a special team of leaders to effectively coordinate the party’s programmes and activities, which will be held in the next two to three months.
On Sunday, KTR held a teleconference with the party’s district presidents and general secretaries where a wide range of programmes were formulated to ensure people’s representatives stay among the people to the extent possible and to strengthen the bond between ground-level activists, state-level leaders, and people’s representatives.
Some of the programmes are Aathmeeya Sammelans, grand celebrations of Dr BR Ambedkar’s birth anniversary, and BRS Foundation Day celebrations. Also, the party’s students’ wing was directed to undertake a membership registration drive in the 2023-24 academic year.
The special team will coordinate with the party’s district presidents and local MLAs to conduct the programmes. KTR directed the newly-appointed in-charges to hold meetings with MLAs of the district allotted to them and discuss the implementation of the programmes.
