Lok Sabha business: Check out the performance of Telangana MPs in parliament
Arvind Dhramapuri has 95 percent attendance, Asaduddin Owaisi has asked 248 questions in parliament and Bhimrao Patil has participated in 45 debates in Lok Sabha.

Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) Nizamabad MP Arvind Dhramapuri has the highest attendance, while All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi has asked the highest number of questions in 17th Lok Sabha.
PRS Legislative Research data accessed by NewsMeter revealed that Telangana Rashtra Samithi Zahirabad MP P Bhimrao Patil has participated in the highest number of debates.
PRS revealed that Arvind Dhramapuri has 95 percent attendance, Asaduddin Owaisi has asked 248 questions in parliament and Bhimrao Patil has participated in 45 debates in Lok Sabha.
The attendance and participation in debates of Lok Sabha MPs from Telangana are lower than the national average. The national average attendance is 80 percent. However, Telangana ranks below average with only 73 percent attendance.
On the national level, the MP's have participated in 29.9 debates. In the case of Telangana MPs, it is 17.9 debates.
However, Telangana's MPs have asked more questions than the national average. On average, 108 questions were asked by every MP. In the case of Telangana, 112 questions were asked by every MP.
Anumula Revanth Reddy
Congress State President and MP from Malkajgiri has an attendance of 62 percent and has asked 111 questions in parliament. He has participated in 14 debates.
Arvind Dharmapuri
BJP MP from Nizamabad has 94 percent attendance, has participated in only five debates, and asked 46 questions in Lok Sabha.
Asaduddin Owaisi
AIMIM MP from Hyderabad has 79 percent attendance, has participated in 41 debates, and asked 248 questions.
