Lucky draws to free tickets: TSRTC to make women's day memorable

Hyderabad: Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has launched several programmes to celebrate International Women's Day on March 8.

Gift Scheme

Purple-colored boxes will be placed at all bus stations and traffic generating points. Women passengers are requested to drop their tickets duly writing their name and phone number in these boxes till March 31. A lucky draw will be conducted on April 2 at the bus stations, and the winners will be given a surprise gift along with a monthly season ticket to travel free anywhere within 30 km jurisdiction from the respective depot.

SELFIE with TSRTC Ticket

Women Passengers are requested to take a selfie with a TSRTC ticket and send it to the WhatsApp Number- 9440970000. A lucky draw will be conducted on 2 April at Bus Bhavan and the winners will be given a surprise gift along with a monthly season ticket to travel free anywhere within 30 km jurisdiction from their place of residence.

Other initiatives

On March 8, TSRTC will felicitate women who hold monthly season ticket passes in each depot. In connection with International Women's Day 2022, a special Whatsapp (9440970000) number has been introduced to attend to grievances/complaints, especially safety-related issues of women passengers. It has also been decided that all employees of TSRTC shall wear purple ribbons as a symbol of women empowerment.

VC Sajjanar, Chairman and MD TSRTC requested passengers especially women to travel in TSRTC buses and encourage public transportation.
