MeeSeva user charges revised in Telangana after 8 years; new rates inside
In addition to the base service charges, the government has introduced a transparent pricing model for high-volume document handling.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Government has officially implemented a major revision of user charges for MeeSeva services across the state, effective today, April 1.
This marks the first time in approximately eight years that the MeeSeva fee structure has been updated, with the last revision dating to 2018-19.
Rajitha Ravula, an e-District Manager in Hyderabad, confirmed the development to NewsMeter, noting that the hike was necessitated by the long interval since the last adjustment. The changes were also about maintaining operational efficiency across the state’s digital service network.

Service Category:
Category A (Basic Certificates) from Rs 35 – Rs 45 to now Rs 62
Category B (Major Certificates/Applications) from Rs 45 – Rs 60 to now Rs 80
Biometric/Farmer Registration from Rs 10 – Rs 20 to now Rs 18 – Rs 35
Key service rates breakdown
The government has streamlined the costs for the most frequently used public services. Citizens should be aware of the following revised rates:
Income, community (caste), residence, and EWS certificates: Now priced at Rs 80
Encumbrance Certificate (EC) and Birth Certificate print: Revised to Rs 62.
Food Security Card applications/corrections: Set at a flat Rs 80.
Farmer registration: Now Rs 18.
RTA DL fee payments and LLR slot booking: Revised to Rs 62
ePass Biometric authentication: Now Rs 35
Important operational changes

Users should note:
Printing/Scanning Fees: A fee of Rs 2.50 per page will be applied for any scanning or printing required beyond the first four pages of a transaction.
Electricity payment to get costlier
Utility Bill Payments: Electricity bill payments (TGSPDCL/TGNPCL) are now tiered based on the bill amount:
Up to Rs 200: Rs 4
Rs 201 – Rs 1,000: Rs 9
Rs 1,001 – Rs 2,500: Rs 18
Above Rs 2,500: Rs 44
Where to report overcharging?
In case of overcharging, citizens can report at 1800 425 1110, the government said.
