Police have registered a case and Delhi ADCP formed a team to investigate the incident. The MIM leader said that it's concerning that this has happened in a so-called "high security" zone.
"The miscreants are radicalised as their party is in power, and violence is the way in which they want to send their message. In the Modi era, you must not be in politics if you are scared. My house was attacked last time from the backside, but no one has been identified till now," said Asaduddin Owaisi.
The police station is 10 steps away from the house of Asaduddin Owaisi in Delhi. The police are investigating and checking the camera's on the road to check who has pelted stones. There is a theory that there could have been monkeys who threw stones. Asaduddin Owaisi, when told about this, said, "Farmadar Bandar hai yeih. It is only throwing stones at my house house and not at the police station or other houses in the vicinity." , he added.
MIM MP Aurangabad Imitiaz Jaleel said this is a very serious matter, and the government must act tough against attackers. "This is happening in the most secured zone in the country, with Parliament police station just across the road. If an elected MP is unsafe, what more can we expect from common people? Highly condemnable", he questioned.
