Hyderabad: Night temperature in Telangana has once again dropped as weatherman predicted fresh cold wave-like conditions in the state. According to the Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS), Regode in Medak recorded the season's lowest temperature of 3.9 degree Celsius.

Several other places in Adilabad like Arli (T) recorded 6 degree Celsius, Bela 6.9 degree Celsius, Pochara 6.9 degree Celsius, Bazarhathnoor 6.9 degree Celsius. Reddy Palle in Rangareddy recorded 7.2 degree Celsius, Kerameri in Kumaram Bheem recorded 7.8 recorded degree Celsius, Kohir in Sangareddy 8 degree Celsius, Ryali in Mancherial 8 degree Celsius, and Nyalkal in Sangareddy eight degree Celsius.

Hyderabad recorded a minimum temperature of 13 degree Celsius with a deviation of 5 degree Celsius from the normal on the morning of February 5, according to data from the weather observatory in Begumpet Airport. The maximum temperature recorded was 29.6 degree Celsius.

"Get ready Telangana and Hyderabad for the final cold wave of this winter season. Temperatures will drop up to 8-9 degree Celsius in North, West Telangana and up to 11 degrees Celsius in parts of GHMC in the next two days," independent weather observer T Balaji.

He added that this cold wave wouldn't be as intense as the previous one and after February 7, there won't be strong, chill weather but pleasant nights with warmer day temperatures. On February 2, Balaji had predicted a cold wave in the state from February 5 to February 7.

In the GHMC area, the University of Hyderabad recorded the lowest temperature at 8.7 degree Celsius, Rajendranagar at 9.2 degree Celsius, and BHEL factory at 10 degree Celsius.

TSDPS weather forecast maps also predict another chilly night on February 6 with temperatures dropping below 5 degree Celsius in some parts of Kumaram Bheem and Mancherial and below 10 degree Celsius in several other districts in the state.


Meanwhile, the state's maximum temperature in the last 24 hours, 34.5 degree Celsius was recorded in Mudigonda in Nalgonda
