NSUI state president’s arrest: TS HC issues notice to Hyderabad CP

Telangana: Telangana High Court has issued notice to Hyderabad CP CV Anand after NSUI state president Balmoori Venkat Narsing Rao alleged that he was illegally arrested for participating in the `Chalo Assembly’ protest.
On Friday, Telangana High Court heard the plea filed by Balmoori Venkat Narsing Rao alleging that the police illegally arrested him for participating in "Chalo Assembly". The call was given by job aspirants and political parties on February 3.
Petitioner Balmoori Venkat submitted that the Hyderabad police did not follow the orders of the Supreme Court and arrested him without giving notice under 41A CrPC.

The Court directed all the respondents to file counters with complete details by March 10.
The Court adjourned the next hearing to March 10.
