Karimnagar: Protests rocked paddy procurement center at Abadi Jammikunta after 70-year-old farmer died of a heart attack on Tuesday

The deceased was identified as Bitla Iylaiah of Abadi Jammikunta. He had brought his paddy produce to a procurement center but officials refused to accept it on the pretext that its moisture content wasn't within the prescribed limits.

On Tuesday, while Ailaiah was drying his paddy and filling it in bags, he suffered a heart attack and died on the spot.
