‘Most inefficient and pathetic service’: A citizen recounts his abysmal experience using T App Folio
I have reached out to their customer service through emails and phone calls multiple times, and I stand here without any solution.

On 12 January 2023, I was looking to book a slot online through the RTA website to schedule an appointment at RTA Medak for the issue of a clearance certificate for my two-wheeler.
The website recommended that I use the “T App Folio” for this service as it is an effective online service, and you don’t have to visit the office in person.
I’m delighted to see such improved government initiatives as they effectively reduce agent interference, and the process appears transparent. This being the case, I used T App Folio to book my service request on 12 January 2023 at 12:46.
It has been 35 days since, and my request is neither fulfilled nor rejected. I have reached out to their customer service through emails and phone calls multiple times, and I stand here without any solution.
I strongly believe there is a deliberate attempt from RTA in not prioritising these requests. The response from customer care is that the request will be fulfilled at the earliest. Probably the most inefficient and pathetic service one can experience. Alternatively, if we book the slot through the RTA website and appear in person, the request would have been fulfilled on the same day, thanks to the much-dedicated agents who preferably collect Rs. 1,000 with a slot booking charge capped at Rs. 150.
I have also heard from one of the agents that they usually ignore such requests from T App as these requests will never benefit either the agents or the RTA and effective use of this app moving forward will kick the agents out of this field. After understanding the consequences of using T App, I thought I would share my experience with everyone, to enlighten them so that they do not use this application for any means at this moment.
It is a pity to see that while the government is working towards effective solutions, its staff is looking to work in conventional methods that benefit them.
Finally, I’m optimistic about the process improvement going forward and recommend government officials track the logs, limit the time and make the person in charge accountable. Till then, we do have effective applications but they are strictly not recommended!
