Protest against `GO No 317 to continue: Bandi Sanjay after release

Hanumakonda: Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) Telangana president Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Sunday said the protest against GO No 317 will continue in the state.

Speaking at a rally, Sanjay expressed confidence that the party will win the 2023 assembly election. He said they will scrap 'GO No 317' which is anti-employees and anti-teachers.

He asked how a wife and a husband would be happy living in different districts. Sanjay said not a single employee was happy with the transfers.

He also found fault with Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for his closeness with CPI (M) and AIMIM who were opposed to the statehood of Telangana.

Sanjay criticized the TRS government for not paying salaries to the employees in 13 districts even after nine days. Stating that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has praised him over the phone, the BJP state president said a huge public meeting will be conducted in Hyderabad after the relaxation of Covid-19 guidelines.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma who also attended the protest rally said even though it is a smaller state, Assam is better compared to Telangana.

He said that the TRS government is working only for the welfare of Chief Minister K Chandasekhar Rao and his family members. OBC Morcha national president Dr. K Laxman, Huzurabad MLA Etala Rajender, and others participated in the protest rally.
