Revanth Reddy supporters booked for attacking TRS Minister Malla Reddy
A case has been filed against the supporters of Telangana Congress chief Revanth Reddy for attacking the convoy of state labour and employment minister Malla Reddy at Simhagarjana in Ghatkesar on Sunday.

A complaint was filed by Palugula Madhava Reddy in which he said that on 29 May at about 8:20 p.m, the organisation Reddy Jagruthi had organised a meeting beside Vandana Hotel in Ghatkesar village. Minister Malla Reddy was the chief guest.
While the minister was delivering his speech, Singireddy Harivardhan Reddy, Somashekhar Reddy, and others who are followers of Revanth Reddy started raising slogans in favour of Revanth Reddy. They abused the minister and threatened him of dire consequences.
Mr. Madhava Reddy also said that while the minister was leaving the meeting, some Congress followers blocked his car and threw water bottles and chairs.
An FIR has been filed under sections 143, 341, 352, 504, and 506 of the IPC. An investigation is underway.
What happened at the meeting?
During the meeting, the minister praised Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and announced that he would request the CM to constitute a Reddy Corporation at the earliest as per the demand of the community. This was followed by the crowd shouting the slogan "Malla Reddy Down Down."

After Mr. Malla Reddy concluded his speech, people from the crowd started throwing chairs at his convoy. The police had a tough time managing the mob and escorting the minister to safety.
Responding to the incident, the minister said Congress MP Revanth Reddy was the mastermind behind the attack on him at Ghatkesar. He said Revanth sent a hundred people to attack and kill him. "I will not leave those who attacked me. Revanth Reddy should be sent to jail," he said.
