Sangareddy inferno: Massive fire at Mylan Industries leaves 3 dead

Three workers were killed when a massive broke out in a fire at Mylan Chemical Industries in Jinnaram, Sangareddy district on Sunday.

According to Station Fire Officer Patancheru N Janya, the fire started at 11:45 a.m. The incident occurred in the Samplings room while transferring Tetramethyl Disiloxane from a 200-liter barrel to a smaller can.

Officials suspect that a short circuit may have caused the fire.

The deceased were identified as Paritosh Mehta (40), from West Bengal, Ranjith Kumar (27) from Bihar, and Lokeshwar Rao (38), from Srikakulam.

The trio suffered serious burns and were taken to Yashoda hospital in Somajiguda, Hyderabad. They all died while undergoing treatment.
