SCT (Civil) posts: Telangana HC asks TSLPRB not to publish provisional selection list
The petitions were filed by candidates who appeared for the examination
By Newsmeter Network Published on 10 Oct 2023 3:37 AM GMTTelangana: Telangana High Court directed the Chairman, Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) not to publish a provisional selection list of the SCT (Civil) Posts.
TSLPRB held the exam for selecting 15,750 SCT(Civil) posts on August 30, 2022.
A single judge bench of Justice P. Madhavi Devi directed the TSLPRB to remove 4 questions from the question paper, add 4 marks to each candidate, and then declare the results.
Hearing a batch of 6 writ petitions, the petitioners complained that questions No. 130 & 144 were not translated into Telugu and there was a mistake in printing Question No. 57.
The petitions were filed by candidates who appeared for the examination conducted by the TS Level Police Recruitment Board for selecting 15,750 Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (Civil) PC posts ( 12,866 male and 2,884 female posts).
The petitioners complained that some of the questions were not translated into Telugu, some questions were wrongly printed and when the candidates approached the TSLPRB showing the lacunae, they didnāt get any response.
Earlier, Justice P. Madhavi Devi canceled the Group.1 preliminary examination, postponed the Group.2 Examination, suspended the GOs issued by the BRS government in shifting the Village Revenue Officers posts to other departments and adjusting them in the posts of Junior Assistants.
