Justice G. Sridevi of Telangana High Court advised young lawyers to work hard and not try shortcuts in the legal profession. "Legal profession is not so easy. To survive in this field you have to work hard. You have to dedicate yourself to the profession. Otherwise, it is very difficult to establish the practice," Justice G. Sridevi said.
High Court Advocates Association on Wednesday evening held a meeting to give a warm send-off to Justice Sridevi. Justice Sridevi is retiring in the second week of October.
Speaking on the occasion, she urged young advocates, especially women not to waste time on unnecessary matters and sit in the courtrooms to acquire knowledge and learn from the proceedings.
Justice Sridevi urged senior advocates to pay and teach their juniors about court proceedings and help them acquire legal skills.
Chief Justice Ujjal Bhuyan, senior judge Justice Naween Rao, and other High Court Judges, THCAA President Verose Raghunath, Secretaries Jalli Narender, Malla Reddy, Vice President Pasham Krishna Reddy, and other Executive Committee Members lauded the services of Justice Sridevi.
